Hi, I’m Nicolette

From Series A to IPO and beyond, I’ve built recruiting teams across every stage - and now I work for you.

After nearly a decade of hiring across early-stage startups and high-growth tech companies, I’ve seen how much the right role at the right time can change someone’s career. That’s why I started Shepard Recruiting - to bring more clarity, care, and strategy to the job search!

My experiences

I’ve built recruiting teams from scratch at Series A startups, scaled hiring across product, engineering, and GTM, and led corporate recruiting at a $27B public fintech. I know how the process works and, more importantly, how it should work!

Before that, I got my start in healthcare staffing, where I learned the value of hustle, instinct, and relationships, fast. I was a top performer there, but what stuck with me most was the joy of helping people take the next step.

Now, I work directly with candidates and founders to make high-impact matches, the kind that unlock growth, not just fill headcount! I listen. I don’t push. I care about fit more than speed. And I’ll give you the context, clarity, and prep you need to feel confident at every stage.
